Where Are You on Your Leadership Journey? The LOTUS Growth

It all begins with an idea.

There are 3 types of Leaders-Pathetic, Positional and Purposeful. The Pathetic leaders are the ones who lack the vision for themselves first and then their entire team and are just the managers of their circumstances. They are just command followers and just blindly follow what they are being asked to implement to keep their jobs. The Positional Leader is the “best on the team “but has no heart or a strong purpose to drive a team, they are just there to prove their competency as they have been positioned to the authority for a domain they have been working on the same thing for last few decades. However, with the ever-changing constant of the business world dynamics the leaders who leave a legacy and create it wherever they go, are the ones called the Purposeful ones which prove to be the exceptional leaders and they operate at a different level.

I believe Leadership is not a position but a decision. It is a conscious choice. It’s an action. The mission of a purposeful leader is to always leave the environment they have been asked to lead in much better than what they first found it first. A trues leader does not pass an opportunity to impact. True leaders embrace flaws and imperfection and strive towards to make their journey beautiful. Their belief is to inspire by their life and purpose and turning any adversity into opportunity. Leaders are not the ones only assigned by title. The person who at the face of a problem at work or in their life, without crumbling to the fear of the unknown just say “move I will handle it”. The purposeful leader is like the LOTUS blooming even in the murky waters. It needs a completely different mindset to be a leader in every situation in your life and business. Inspired by this metaphor I created the LOTUS growth model.

The term Leadership is not just for Business but it is a state of mind which needs constant nurturing by learning where you are and where you want to be, Overcoming the Gap through proven strategies, Troubleshooting the things that don’t work, Unlearn the beliefs that limit their progress and finally create a blueprint of their Leadership Solution mindset that works in every area of their Life and Career. We at Intuitivelevelup academy believe in Leading with Purpose rather than just running behind a position or just driving Balance Sheet Numbers.

True Leadership starts with the mirror. You will never be able to lead others effectively if you cannot lead yourself efficiently.

It All starts with YOU.

Where Are You on Your Leadership Journey? The LOTUS Growth Model

Leadership is not a destination — it’s a dynamic journey of transformation. Every leader, whether just starting out or seasoned, moves through phases that shape their impact, influence, and inner power. The LOTUS Growth model offers a profound, actionable way to understand and accelerate your leadership evolution.

What is LOTUS?

LOTUS stands for Learn, Overcome, Troubleshoot, Unlearn limiting beliefs, and Solution Now — five essential steps that fuel breakthrough growth. This framework is not just theory; it’s a life-tested roadmap that leaders can use to break barriers and create extraordinary results.

The Five Stages of LOTUS Growth

1. Learn

Leadership starts with a hunger to grow. This phase is about absorbing new knowledge, acquiring skills, and expanding your capabilities. It requires curiosity and discipline to seek out mentors, training, and experiences that stretch you beyond your comfort zone.

2. Overcome

Challenges are inevitable. In this stage, you’re confronting obstacles that test your resolve — whether it’s self-doubt, difficult people, or systemic issues. Overcoming means pushing through fear and resistance with grit and a burning desire to succeed.

3. Troubleshoot

After initial progress, patterns or problems may emerge that block further growth. Troubleshooting demands reflection and honesty. You identify what’s not working — in your strategy, behaviors, or mindset — and create a plan to course-correct intentionally.

4. Unlearn Limiting Beliefs

This is the breakthrough stage where real transformation happens. Leadership requires unlearning old stories and beliefs that limit your potential. Maybe it’s the fear of failure, perfectionism, or self-sabotage. Let those go, and you open the door to new possibilities.

5. Solution Now

With clarity and an empowered mindset, you take bold massive action — your “Massive Action Plan.” This isn’t busywork; it’s laser-focused execution aligned with your highest priorities and purpose. "Solution Now" represents the unstoppable leader who creates results and uplifts others.

Why LOTUS Matters on Your Leadership Path

Too often, leaders get stuck in loops of trying harder without shifting mindset or strategy. LOTUS breaks that cycle by combining practical action with deep internal work. It reminds you that leadership is about evolving your identity just as much as your skill set.

Where Are You Right Now?

Ask yourself:

Am I in learning mode — hungry to grow, hungry to better myself?

What obstacles am I overcoming, and how can I harness that struggle as fuel?

What challenges should I be troubleshooting — where might I be stuck or blind?

What limiting beliefs am I ready to unlearn that have been holding me back?

What solutions am I willing to commit to NOW to create massive impact?

There’s no shame in starting anywhere — the journey is yours. The key is to take ownership and decide: Am I playing to win or playing not to lose?

How to Use LOTUS with RPM to Accelerate Your Growth

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome as a leader

It all begins with an idea.

Conquering the Imposter Within: A Leader's Guide to Silencing Self-Doubt

As an executive, you've undoubtedly achieved remarkable success - climbing the corporate ladder, leading high-performing teams, and driving transformative results. Yet, despite your impressive accomplishments, you may still find yourself grappling with a nagging sense of self-doubt, a feeling that you're somehow an imposter, undeserving of the accolades and responsibilities you've earned.

This phenomenon, known as imposter syndrome, is surprisingly common among high-achieving individuals. Even the most confident, capable leaders can fall victim to this insidious mindset, questioning their abilities and fearing that their success is merely a fluke. But the truth is, you've earned your place at the top through hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. It's time to silence the imposter within and embrace the powerful leader you've become.

Here are five strategies to help you overcome imposter syndrome and reclaim your rightful place as an executive:

  • Reframe Your Mindset: Imposter syndrome thrives on negative self-talk and distorted perceptions of reality. Challenge these limiting beliefs by reframing your inner dialogue. When you catch yourself thinking, "I don't deserve this promotion," counter it with, "I've worked tirelessly to develop the skills and expertise required for this role. I am more than qualified."

  • Celebrate Your Accomplishments: Make a conscious effort to acknowledge and celebrate your achievements, both big and small. Keep a running list of your successes, and regularly review them to remind yourself of the value you bring to the table. Share these accomplishments with your team and peers, allowing yourself to take pride in your contributions.

  • Seek Feedback and Validation: While it's important not to rely solely on external validation, seeking honest feedback from trusted colleagues, mentors, and direct reports can help reinforce your competence and leadership abilities. Listen to their perspectives with an open mind, and use this information to identify areas for growth and improvement.

  • Embrace Vulnerability: Imposter syndrome often stems from a fear of being "found out" or exposed as a fraud. Break down this barrier by cultivating an environment of psychological safety, where you and your team feel comfortable sharing vulnerabilities and admitting mistakes. This openness fosters trust, collaboration, and a shared understanding that even the most successful leaders are human.

  • Pay It Forward: As an executive, you have a unique opportunity to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders. Mentor aspiring professionals, share your story of overcoming imposter syndrome, and encourage them to embrace their own strengths and capabilities. By lifting others up, you'll not only make a meaningful impact but also reinforce your own sense of worth and belonging.

Imposter syndrome may never fully disappear, but by adopting these strategies, you can learn to manage it effectively and focus on the incredible value you bring to your organization. Embrace your accomplishments, trust in your abilities, and lead with unwavering confidence. Your team and your company are fortunate to have you at the helm.

Want to know how coaching can help you?

It all begins with an idea.

Ready to transform your career journey into a powerful expedition of self-discovery and purpose? Choosing the right career path isn't just about picking a job — it's about aligning your life with your deepest passions, strengths, and values to create a future that excites you every single day. This process is your gateway to an extraordinary life where work feels like an expression of your authentic self.

Discover Your Ideal Career Path Through Self-Assessment and Coaching

I want you to feel empowered right now because the truth is, you have everything inside you to find a career that fits like a glove. The question isn't "What do I want to do?" but "Who do I want to become?" When you engage in deep self-assessment and bring in the right guidance, such as a skilled career coach, you start a life-changing journey that aligns your professional path with your ultimate vision.

Let me walk you through the essential steps to uncover your ideal career with clarity, focus, and massive action:

Step 1: Identify Your Interests and Passions — Fuel Your Drive

What lights your soul on fire? What subjects or activities make you lose track of time? When you know what genuinely excites you, every day becomes an adventure. Start with an interest inventory assessment — it’s like holding a mirror up to your soul to see what fascinates and motivates you most.

Without connecting to your passions, work becomes a grind. But when you embrace what you love, your energy skyrockets and your pursuit becomes unstoppable. Find what makes you come alive, and you’ve found your directional compass.

Step 2: Understand Your Strengths and Talents — Leverage Your Natural Power

You weren’t built to blend in. Your strengths and talents are your superpowers waiting to be harnessed. Tools like the Clifton StrengthsFinder or Myers-Briggs Type Indicator cut through the noise to reveal the unique way your mind works and the natural abilities you bring to the world.

Working with a career coach can deepen this clarity. Imagine knowing precisely how to play to your strengths every day, unleashing performance and fulfillment that most people only dream of. That’s what happens when you position yourself where your talents meet your work.

Step 3: Explore Your Values and Priorities — Anchor Your Decisions in What Matters Most

Career satisfaction isn’t just about what you do, it’s about what you stand for. Are you driven by making a social impact? Is financial independence non-negotiable? Or is cultivating an outstanding work-life balance your ultimate goal?

A values assessment shines a light on your deepest priorities, preparing you to choose paths that nourish your soul instead of draining it. This alignment between your career and values triggers sustained drive and profound contentment.

Step 4: Uncover Your Ideal Work Environment — Design Your Daily Experience

Where you work matters as much as what you do. Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? Or do you power up most when you have space for deep independent focus? Your surroundings shape your performance and happiness.

Assessments and coaching conversations help you visualize and define the workplace culture and rhythm that will fuel you daily. This clarity empowers you to pursue roles and companies that fit you like a second skin.

Step 5: Assess Your Skills and Skill Gaps — Empower Your Growth

Be honest with yourself: what are your current skills, and where do you need to level up? Identifying your skill gaps isn’t about weakness — it’s an opportunity to grow strategically. A career coach helps pinpoint which competencies will give you leverage in your chosen path and what training or experience fills the gaps.

This proactive approach transforms uncertainty into a powerful growth plan that boosts your confidence and market value.

Step 6: Explore Potential Career Paths — Create an Informed Vision

Now that you know your interests, strengths, values, and work environment preferences, start mapping potential career paths that resonate with this powerful foundation. Your coach will introduce you to options you might not have considered, presenting industries and roles perfectly aligned with who you are.

This exploration is not just research—it’s envisioning the future you were meant to create.

Step 7: Create an Action Plan — From Vision to Massive Action

Clarity without action is just a dream. With your career coach, craft an action plan that breaks down your big vision into tangible, manageable steps. This may include polishing your resume, building your network, scheduling informational interviews, and acquiring necessary training.

Commit to this plan like your career depends on it—because it does. Your future self is counting on the decisions you make today.

The Ultimate Transformation: Aligning Life and Career

Choosing the right career is not a one-time decision—it’s a transformative journey of self-discovery, alignment, and relentless action. Through comprehensive assessments and expert coaching, you unlock who you truly are and where you belong in the professional world.

Don’t settle for progress without purpose. Let go of spinning your wheels on endless to-dos that don’t move you forward. Instead, align your results with your purpose. This is life management, not time management.

Take the First Step: Your Future Self Awaits

The moment to start is NOW. Invest deeply in this process of self-assessment and coaching. Your commitment today creates momentum that will carry you toward a fulfilling and extraordinary career.

Remember, the quality of your life is the quality of your decisions. Decide to align your career with your true self and take massive action every day.

If you’re ready to uncover your ideal career path and live a life you absolutely love, get in touch with us today. Your transformation starts here — and trust me, your future self will thank you.
